8th Grade Orchestra practice Thursday, February 20 and Thursday, February 27 from 3:30-5pm in the orchestra room.
Curriculum Night Concert a big success!!
The 8th grade orchestra perform on February 4th for the rising 6th grade students and parents and did an outstanding job!! Congratulations!!

Violin & Viola Choir on Saturday February 1st, 2020 at Fine Arts Center (next to Wade Hampton High School)
This is an excellent opportunity for students of all levels to participate in an orchestra made up of only violins and violas. It is a lot of fun and I will be there along with any students that would like to attend and perform in the concert at the end. Here is a link for the registration: Registration Link

Orchestra Performing for the nursing homes the last week of school before winter break!!
Dear Parents of 7th & 8th Grade Strings Students,
December is almost upon us and I think it is a great thing for our students to give back to the people in our community. In past years I have taken string students to nursing homes to perform for the residents and I would like to do it again this year. I will be having morning rehearsals for the next 4 weeks from 7:30-8:15am and after school rehearsals from 3:15-4:30pm. Students that would like to go on these field trips need to come to at least three mornings a week and all after school practices each week.
The Morning Practices are: November 18-21 (no rehearsal on Friday), November 25-26, December 2-6, and 9-13.
The After School Practices are: November 19, 21, December 13.
8th Grade Orchestra performs at Veteran's Day Assembly Friday, November 8th!!
The 8th grade orchestra did a fantastic job performing for all three assemblies!!
Fall Concert is is a big success!!
We had our Fall concert on Tuesday, October 22nd at 6:30pm and the students did an outstanding job!!

Last week we had the auditions for the All-County Orchestra and I'm proud to say that we had six students who auditioned and made it into the All-County Orchestra! They are:
